Gingerclown is a 2013 horror comedy film from Hungary, shot in English and directed by Balázs Hatvani, who also wrote the screenplay. The story centers on two high school students, Jenny and Sam, who get trapped in a derelict amusement park after Sam agrees to sneak in to prove his courage to a bully. The park is home to a collection of monsters, with the title character voiced by Tim Curry. Other veteran actors—Lance Henriksen, Michael Winslow, Brad Dourif, and Sean Young—provide the voices for the creatures that terrorize the teens. The film was shot entirely at night at the Budapest Amusement Park, with the exception of one morning scene filmed on the last day of production.
